In a shocking incident, doctors of Omni hospitals in Kurnool have been accused of treating a dead woman and thereafter, extracting a bill of 1.1 lakh rupees from the deceased’s relatives.
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) – the trade union of doctors – was then upset over that particular sequence from the movie and even issued a call to boycott it. In this episode, District Collector Ch. Vijaya Mohan has ordered a probe into the allegations that the doctors of Omni Hospitals in Kurnool treated a dead woman.
A five-member committee headed by Joint Collector C. Harikiran is constituted to conduct a probe into the entire matter and submit a report within a week.
