Star Plus’s daily soap “Veer Ki Ardaas Veera” was a popular show among children as well as their parents. The story of the show revolved around a boy Ranvijay and Veera. Veera wasn’t Ranvijay’s real sister but he took care of her like a real brother.
TV actress Sneha Wagh played the role of Ranvijay’s mother. Initially, she didn’t like Veera but with the passing time she also starts loving that little girl. Harshita Ojha essayed the role of Veera. At an early age of 6, she made her debut in Indian television with this serial.
This little girl was very adorable and stole everyone’s heart with her cute smile. She was chubby, cute and most importantly a brilliant actor. Everyone was surprised to see a 6-year-old girl acting so well and confidently in front of the camera.
She has also acted in other shows like Tamanna, Savdhaan India and Beintehaa.
Harshita is currently in 5th standard at Children Academy School. Apart from studying she is also learning Kathak and swimming. Her father is a financial planner and her mother is a housewife.
Harshita wants to become a popular singer
Little Harshita who rose to fame for her role as Veera doesn’t want to be an actor. In an interview, she said, , “I started my journey in television industry at the very early age of 5. I shot to fame for playing the role of Veera. However, I don’t want to see myself as an actress in future. Currently, I am learning swimming, kathak dance and singing.”
Renowned singer Shreya Goshal is her inspiration
“So, in future, I want to see myself as a multi-tasker. Also, I love singing a lot. So, I wouldn’t mind seeing myself as an established singer in our industry (laughs). In fact, I want to become a great singer like Shreya Ghosal. I am fond of acting also but I do not wish to make my career in it (smiles).”
She talked about her show Malaikat Kecil also which was shot in Indonesia
“Just few months back, I was in Indonesia for three months. There, I did a show titled – Malaikat Kecil Dari India which meant angels of India. I had the best moments in Indonesia. Surprisingly, there were so many fans of our serial – Veera. They were so fond of me.”
“In fact, I did not spend a single day there without gifts. The production team there was too supportive. Initially, it was little difficult to adjust because of the language difference. But later on, it was great fun with the local people. I am really missing those days.
