IPhone 5S currently retails for Rs. 28,999 Rupees on Snapdeal.
Punjabi University B.Tech student Nikhil Bansal did what anyone would do if they spot a 99.7% off on an iPhone – he grabbed it. He ordered it for Rs 68 on 12 feb.
Nikhil Bansal took snapdeal into court.
Filing a consumer court complaint in Punjab’s Sangrur district, he alleged that Snapdeal refused to ‘honor the deal’, Trak.in reported. Not only did the court order Snapdeal to sell him the iPhone 5S for Rs. 68, but the ecommerce giant was also made to pay a Rs 2000 penalty.
Spnapdeal lost the case and at last snapdeal aslo paid Rs 10000 penalty.
