A few days back, Sidhu was chosen as the cabinet minister of Punjab. Therefore he was continuously forced by captain Amarinder Singh to leave the show. He wanted Sidhu to leave the show and focus only on politics. Captain even sought legal help for this. But Sidhu tried everything to stay on the show. And now as we all can see he is still the part of the show.

But this doesn’t mean the end of all the trouble for the cricketer turned politician. Now he is again stuck in a legal trouble. Senior advocate of Punjab High Court has filed suit against the politician for cracking vulgar jokes on the show.

He referred to Saturday’s episode which had Parneeti Chopra and Ayushman Khurana as the celebrity guest. While putting his point in front of the tribunal he said that while he was watching the show with his family, Sidhu cracked vulgar jokes that offended him. He further said it’s not the first time when Sidhu has cracked objectionable jokes on the show. Earlier also he has cracked vulgar jokes on the show. And this is quite becoming his habit.

I believe that working in the entertainment world will certainly divert the attention of a person who holds a ministry. It would be a hindrance to performing his duties as a minister,” he said.

Earlier Sidhu has defended his stint on the show by saying,

“If people had objections to my television assignments, they would not have elected me with nearly 43,000 vote margin. I will work (as a minister) till 3 p.m. and then take a flight to Mumbai. I will shoot (for the show) till 3 a.m. and be back early morning.
