Girl Achieved The Impossible, Beat Anorexia And Embraced Her Curves

When you are determined to reach your goal, nobody can stop you from achieving it. And such determined temperament was exhibited by an Anorexia patient.

Chiara Schober a resident of Eschen, Liechtenstein, was at the lowest point in her battle with Anorexia and weighed 49 pounds at that time.

She didn’t have any appetite and her body was surviving on no calorie-intake. She lacked any body fat or muscle tone.

However, after meeting her present boyfriend, things began changing drastically. With his flooding love and care, her health began improving and today she is striving to regain her health as much as possible.

It is indeed a miracle for her to beat such a deadly disease like anorexia and it is always good to see people taking on the challenge at the same time.

Chiara did the impossible and has inspired many to not quit in the face of death. She was quite young when she started having stomach pains. Slowly the pain became so intense that she was left with absolutely no appetite.

“I began to feel guilty when I ate as I never actually felt hungry so I started eating less and less as I didn’t want to eat for the sake of it,” she said.

Gradually her appetite lessened significantly and at one point she was only eating a peach a day, which is only 39 calories.

And her death of her grandmother made things worse. It had a bad impact on her and was left heartbroken. “When my grandmother passed away I was heartbroken, she had helped me get a bit better but when I lost her my weight spiraled again.”

She would spend her days visiting the hospital every day and just a slight sign of eating seemed to be less satisfying to her than being dead.

“I used to hate going to the hospital, I struggled so much and at times it made the condition worse.”

“I would be placed on an eating diet which resulted in several meals a day, including porridge with almonds and quinoa with broccoli,” she recalled.

As the doctors cannot force patients to eat anything, it made her condition worse. The frequent hospital visits made her condition worse.

“I even threatened that I’d kill myself if I stayed in the hospital.”

However, soon she met her current boyfriend. They met and fell in love with each other. He was always there by her side in her rough times.

Jason would console her, take care of her and shower love upon her. He was no less than her life savior.

During her fight with the eating disorder, the doctors end up giving her a grave warning.

“When doctors told me my body wouldn’t be able to cope much longer without food I knew it was now or never.”

Her boyfriend Jason handled the issue very carefully. He encouraged her to eat more by making sure she always had food around to snack on, like popcorn.

Soon she started to enjoy eating again which boosted her ability to tackle the mental problems.

“I wanted to be healthy again for both of us, I wanted us to be able to go out and do what normal couples do and not let an eating disorder control me.”

“I’d always dreamt of getting married someday and having a family of my own, Jason made me realize what life was really about again.”

Now Chiara looks amazing and leads a healthy lifestyle all thanks to Jason and her own wish to be healthy again.

“I used to be terrified of all foods other than fruit and veg, but now I eat ice cream, pizza, and just about anything that’s put in front of me.

“I’m now in a really good place and I’m surrounded by supportive family and friends and the best boyfriend I could wish for.” she said

“Recovery wasn’t easy but I would recommend anyone in a similar position to see a doctor or therapist as soon as they notice an eating disorder.”

She fought off anorexia and has become an inspiration for all!!
