My dream wedding? It would definitely be either Monica’s marriage to Chandler or Phoebe’s marriage with Mike. Nothing could be better than the two.
Oh, wait! I guess I am wrong here. This couple’s marriage celebrations proved me absolutely wrong. Their wedding is definitely goals!
Richard Owen and architect Katy Lomas were exchanging vows at Wentworth Castle in Barnsley when a heavy rainfall hit the place hard. The marriage processions found it hard to follow when the weather grew worse.
It was the oncoming of the hurricane Bertha. They were almost drowned in it and a lot worse was to follow. The flooding left £6,000 tipi flooded
However, Katy thinks otherwise. She said,”I look back on those photos now and I would not change a thing. Of course, we would always have remembered the day regardless of what happened – but the pictures and the weather and everything about it just means no-one will ever forget this day. It was perfect.”
According to her, it is a day worth remembering till the end of their lives. Despite the calamity, they enjoyed the day with full vigor. There were thrill and excitement at their wedding. And these pictures beautifully portray their feelings.
The downpour didn’t deter the couple from enjoying the day any less.
The moments were special, the day was memorable and the fun was unceasing.
They enjoyed the day perfectly well with their friends and family. Instead of remembering the day as a complete disaster, it gave them a perfect memory to cherish all their lives.
The bridesmaids jumped barefoot in the flooded place.
The venue still looked perfect even after the heavy rainfall.
The chairs and tipi were half drowned in water at the the onset of heavy rainfall.
The conservatory roof started leaking and soon it was full of water everywhere.
The staff moved everything including the bar to a safer place.
The big cake was also moved to a drier place.
The staff at the venue were soaked to the bone but kept on doing their work and that too with cheerful countenances.
The bridesmaids waved their bouquets and joined the bride in some unique dance moves.
What to do when it’s raining? DANCE is the perfect answer.
And finally, the groom kissed the bride, ending the celebrations wonderfully and on a very happy note.
