Bollywood Celebrities Who Died Due To A Heart Attack

Heart attack is a very common disease among people nowadays. Not only common people like us but celebrities too become victim to this vicious disease.

There are many Bollywood celebs who suffered from heart attacks and ultimately died of it. One day you are happy spending a good time with your family, and the next day you are gone, counting your breath on the hospital bed before bidding adieu to this world.

Below are some celebrities who died due to a heart attack-

1. Reema Lagoo

Reema Lagoo was a famous Bollywood and TV actress. She became victim to a cardiac arrest on May 18 and passed away the same morning. She was working on the hit TV show, Naamkaran. Lagoo was best known for her roles in movies like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’.


2. Om Puri

The 66-year-old veteran actor passed away on January 6 following a major heart attack. He was a critically acclaimed actor who was awarded a Padma Shri. And in 2004 he was honored with OBE for his contribution to the British film industry. He is best known for his spectacular performances in movies like ‘Ardh Satya’ and ‘Paar’ and the satirical ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’.


3. Razzak Khan

Comic actor, Razzak Khan suffered a massive heart attack and was taken to Holy Family Hospital in Bandra. He was declared as dead by the doctors on 1 June last year. He was famous as Golden Bhai in the TV show, Comedy Nights With Kapil.


4. Aarthi Agarwal

Aarthi was declared dead on June 6, 2015, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She had had a liposuction surgery 6 weeks prior to her death. She was suffering from severe breathing problems before having a heart attack.


5. Abir Goswami

Goswami died at 37 due to a cardiac arrest on 31 May 2013. He was running a treadmill when he felt the sudden stroke. Abir has worked in many Tv serials like Kkusum”, “Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli”, “Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. He had also worked in many movies such as Lakshya’, ‘Khakee’, ‘Ugly’, ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh.


6. Vivek Shauq

He suffered a major heart attack and admitted to Jupiter Hospital in Thane. On 10 January 2011 Shauq died from septicemia at the age of 47.


7. Navin Nischol

He died en route from Mumbai to Pune at 64. He was the first gold medalist from the Film and Television Institute of India. Nischol had worked in many notable movies and Tv shows like Dekh Bhai Dekh”, “Daal Mein Kala”, “Waqt Ki Raftaar”, “Aashirwad” etc.
