Ali Asgar who parted ways with Kapil Sharma is all set to entertain the audience on a new comedy show “Drama Company”. Sony Entertainment’s “Drama Company” will consist of Kapil’s arch rivalry Krushna, Kapil’s ex team mate Sugandha Mishra, renowned actor Mithun Chakravorty and Sudesh Lehri.
Ali Asgar might have parted ways with Kapil. However, he still maintains a cordial relation with the ace comedian. At the launch of Drama Company, he told media that they are still in touch. And when he got to know about his poor health he messaged him to get well soon.
However, he couldn’t go to the hospital due to rehearsals. Ali said, “I messaged Kapil to get well soon but because of the rehearsals could not go to the hospital to meet him. ”
Actor Ali Asgar who stepped down the show says he left TKSS because his character didn’t get enough attention.
He said, “The truth is, I opted out of the show as I wasn’t happy with my role in TKKS. While Dadi from CNWK was much loved and had a lot to do, Nani in TKKS wasn’t shaping up well. I gave the show a year hoping things would get better, but my character didn’t get the attention it deserved.”
On being asked if he had any grudges for Kapil, Ali said, “Why should I have any grudges against him? We only had professional creative differences with each other. I have nothing personal against him. I learned a lot from Kapil in terms of timing. We had some good memories on the show.”
Kapil had a shooting scheduled with Shahrukh Khan for the promotion of his upcoming film “Jab Harry Met Sejal”. However, he fainted on the sets of TKSS following which he was taken to hospital.
